Axess Extreme offers premier sea kayak tours in one of Portugal's best kayaking destination. Our biggest asset is the stunning beauty of the southern coast of the Algarve, which has an abundance of mysterious sea caves, tranquil lagoons and secluded beaches, all beautifully carved be the waters into the majestic sandstone and limestone cliffs. The subsequent rise and fall of the sea levels due to the inter-glacier periods have their share of responsibility for the many different shapes and forms of the caves and rocks along the gorgeous coast. You will paddle across empty beaches inviting you for a swim or stop for snorkeling in one of the many little lagoons. If you want to try some cliff diving our guides will be happy to show you the best spots and teach you the first steps in performing a safe dive, whether you're looking at a 5ft rock or at a 25ft cliff. Whatever your sense of adventure is, our three-hour tours can accommodate just about anyone. If the sea and weather conditions don't play along, we always have alternative locations for you to discover.
Small groups and a low boat to guide ratio, normally six to one or less, give our trips a personal touch. This allows guides to focus on the individual needs and desires of guests, therefore giving them a superior kayaking experience. If needed, complimentary transfer to the launch site is provided from various locations on the coast.
All equipment is provided and included in the cost of the trip. We provide you with waterproof paddling jackets, waterproof barrels for smaller personal belongings and the snorkeling equipment.
We tend to attract guests from all walks of life who share the common passion of exploring and appreciating the wilderness. Each trip is typically made up of a few couples or small groups of friends and a few individual travellers.
All of our guides are chosen for much more than just their paddling skills. Their ability to lead and instruct, their knowledge of the local area and wildlife and the ability to ensure everyone is having a fantastic time on the water are our biggest concerns.
In addition to our regular scheduled tours we often create custom or family tours for interested groups. If the times for one of our regular scheduled tours does not work for you or you are looking at something a little different give us a call and we will work with you to create a trip that is right for your group.
